An Opportunity to serve

Here at Berean Christian School we are excited to have our 1st Annual Fundraising Drive called Learning Thru Serving. All the money donated during this time will be split between 2 wonderful causes: the Ark Park Remodel Project and our Tuition Assistance Program.

What is Learning Thru Serving?

A way for students to do 3 things:

  1. Tell people about Berean Christian School while..
    1. Collecting donations (pledges) for scholarships for the upcoming fall and…
    2. Serving the church on LTS Day, March 24th
  2. Why do we do LTS?
    1. IT IS SO EASY!!! I hate to be that way, but it is true!
    2. We are teaching our students to learn to ask. “You do not have because you do not ask.”.
  3. Being responsible for collecting and delivering the pledges
    1. To allow students to see outside their own world and into the needs of others.
  4. What do parents have to do?
    1. Call, email, write letters, get on social media, , whatever you want to contact friends, coworkers, church members, family, neighbors, whoever!
    2. To bring in pledges for your child to donate to the school.
    3. Be sure the money gets turned into the office.
    4. See your child’s smile when they tell you what they received for their daily prize, individual prizes, classroom prizes, school-wide prizes, and possibly their family goal prizes.
    5. Pray for students that want to come to our school but don’t feel they can because of financial constraints.
    6. Turn in the permission slip by March 6th.
    7. Join us on March 24th, 2023 @ 12:30-3:30 to work on our school’s Garden Project!
