  • Status: Full-time for 2024-2025 school year
  • Work hours: 7:45 am- 4:15 pm Monday-Friday

HISTORY

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree, or High School diploma and related, equivalent work experience.
  • Prefer three (3) years experience in business operations and/or administrative support, preferably in a school setting.
  • Prefer three (3) years experience with a school management platform and admissions process.
  • Prefer experience with website builder and management platform, preferably Squarespace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal.
  • Current first aid certification, it can be paid by the school.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the front office operations and associated responsibilities.
  • Attend to the medical needs of students and manage medication dispensation according to school policy.
  • Coordinate and assist leadership in managing the school’s admissions and re-enrollment process and associated responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the Finance and HR/Benefits Manager to support business operations and administrative services and responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of School and the PTO.
  • Collaborate and work closely with all staff.
  • Collaborate with leadership about staff events including planning, execution and coordination with volunteers.
  • Manage family and student onboarding and offboarding and assist with staff onboarding/offboarding as needed.
  • Work regularly in the areas of data management, record-keeping, school-wide technology & software management, document creation, school-wide communications and problem-solving.
  • Assist in management of the school’s website and coordinate any updates with leadership staff.
  • Serve as primary liaison with the school information system (SMS) platform vendor.
  • Work regularly with the following systems:

Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)

Design software

  • Oversee summer supply ordering, which includes student supplies and curriculum..
  • Manage cash, check or credit card payments from parents and oversee petty cash.
  • Assist with facilities support and emergency response systems and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to warmly and effectively interface with students, staff, families and others with genuine compassion, concern and empathy for all.
  • Steadfastly hold self accountable to high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Actively engage in productive and collaborative dialogue to assist in problem solving.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to “sweep the floors” – complete all tasks, regardless of perceived importance, with a positive attitude, personal humility and a willingness to learn.
