Welcome to Berean Christian School

Since 1972, Berean Christian School has challenged students to use their God-given abilities by establishing high academic, spiritual, and Biblical moral standards. The center of the school is our Lord Jesus Christ, and the education and spiritual growth of the student is our primary concern. The BCS Board strives to hire the most qualified instructors who are dedicated to guide the student in his or her growth of Christian living. Our graduates have competed with and even exceeded, peers from public schools on college entrance examinations. God has continued to bless their lives following college graduation in professional, technical, and self-employment vocations. Our church, as well as other churches, have been blessed by our graduates and currently enrolled students who serve the Lord through music, teaching, and other ministries. Berean Christian School serves Kindergarden – 12th Grade.

Berean Christian School (BCS) is a ministry of the Edgemont Bible Church (EBC). The Berean Christian School Board and teaching staff support the Fundamentals of the Faith defined by the church. All Board and staff members are members in good standing of the Edgemont Bible Church.

Missions Statement:

Berean Christian School (BCS) exists to assist parents in bringing their sons and daughters to maturity in Christ and preparation for life and ministry by teaching them sound academics and the principles of God’s Word, Way, and Will, the application of them and how to teach them to others.

School Verse:

Acts 17:11 “These (Bereans) were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
